Amy’s smile faded. “Hostage? Gory details?” She didn’t want them, true, but the fact that there was any details at all … “Raggedy Man … that’s not staying out of trouble.” Why would she dream that? None of her previous dreams had brought bad news.
… but she shrugged it off, as always with everything. If she didn’t press it would fade. Usually that only encouraged to ask more questions, but that wasn’t the case here. So she shook her head and put on a smile. “Mhm. Actually, the NYT just asked me to write an article for them. Very big.”

The Doctor nodded at her and he shrugged a little bit. “Well, I have been three weeks, linearly, trouble free if that’s any consolation at all,” he grinned some. He was trying to gear the conversation away from that. He didn’t really want her to ask and he knew if he continued on about it, she’d ask.
“NYT?” He has to think a second. “OH! The New York Times, that’s brilliant!” He clapped his hands and pointed at her. “Brilliant, what’s the subject matter?”
She had to pause at that. Three weeks wasn’t awful; especially since this was the Doctor. “Impressive,” she said jokingly, cracking a smile and shaking her head. He would never change, would he? At least she hoped he wouldn’t.
Amy nodded excitedly. “Yeees. And old friend, actually.” She smiled smugly at that. “Good ol’ Winston and the Munich Agreement, or … something like that. I’ve still got research to do, obviously.” She had never been fond of homework.
quick clarification: not sure if anyone was thinking this, but this amy isnt associated with my other amy. i know the url is the same which is a little deceiving but the truth is this url is gold and i was too lazy to come up with another good one. but yeah basically this is a completely separate amy she’s canon she’s rory/amy (at least at the moment that’s possibly subject to change you know how it is)
on the subject of my other amy though: is she completely gone?? im not actually sure tbh. if anyones wondering, no, that account is not gone, its over at miaarchive now hip hip hurray, because all that history is too good to throw away. so yeah that’s still there in case anyone wants to be nostalgic or refer back to something or something. if ill actually bring her back idk idk. its not that i dont want to but i dont know how i would???? idk idk idk. its really complicated my thought process is complicated if anyone really cares u can message me like EXPLAIN and i will
ANYWAYS ONE MORE THING
ooc posts will be tagged as evie musings the only situation where i wont is plain tags post because we can all assume those are ooc amiright

Amy watched him for a moment, her smile softening. “I’ve got a good memory, haven’t I? Exactly like I remember you being.”

She then shook her head and shrugged it off, narrowing her eyes at him instead. “A few times? Better no times, though, don’t you think?” She wouldn’t press for details. If he even had them. If her subconscious could even go that deep. “Normal is … good. Yep, Rory’s still a nurse and I’ve taken up journalism, actually.” She smiled proudly at that.
“Yes, you have gotten a better one in recent days,” he said with a smile and kept his hands in his trouser pockets.

“Actually yes, but these were of no fault of my own. I was held hostage for a time and … well, you don’t need the gory details on that, I’m alive and I didn’t have to regenerate, so that’s something,” he said and shrugged it off. He didn’t want to talk about it really and she had a look about her that she couldn’t take the details even if he had. “Yes — very good. I quite enjoy it from time to time. OH. Journalism, you write for the papers then? Now that’s exciting, anything I would know?”
Amy’s smile faded. “Hostage? Gory details?” She didn’t want them, true, but the fact that there was any details at all … “Raggedy Man … that’s not staying out of trouble.” Why would she dream that? None of her previous dreams had brought bad news.
